October tide demo. Very good demo but I noticed something. The first riff in To Die From Strength sounded familiar and after listening through Katatonia I realized that it's the exact same riff in Katatonias song At Last, from the Sounds of Decay EP. While I'm at Katatonia I think you need to hear this shit! This side project of Jonas Renske and Fredrik Norrman from Katatonia continued playing the early Katatonia sound but you can notice some progression. This is one of the best doom albums I've ever heard. Highly Recommended!

I like listening to old demos, partly for the shitty quality but mostly just to see how a band sounded like young. Lord Seth and Blakkheim must have been...16-17 during the recording. But it's really a jewel. I wonder why they didn't include these 2 tracks on Dance of December Souls.

The Faceless - Planetary Duality [2008]

I love The Faceless, and on this album I feel that they have moved away from their previous deathcore-influenced sound. So if you've heard The Faceless earlier expect less deathcore and more prog. Excellent riffs, Legions of The Serpent makes me shiver (in a good way!) .The only thing that bother me is the Cynic-like robot voice on some songs.
