This is a relatively new project from Sweden. You could describe the music as black and death metal with symphonic and progressive influences. With three truely unique songs they definitely recieved my full attention.

The Faceless - Planetary Duality [2008]

I love The Faceless, and on this album I feel that they have moved away from their previous deathcore-influenced sound. So if you've heard The Faceless earlier expect less deathcore and more prog. Excellent riffs, Legions of The Serpent makes me shiver (in a good way!) .The only thing that bother me is the Cynic-like robot voice on some songs.

Released: 2008
Country: USA
Genre: Progressive/Technical Death Metal
